Position: Audit Senior Consultant
Location: Onsite/ Remote
Reports to: Audit Manager / Partner
Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Audit Engagements: Plan, execute, and oversee complex audit projects from start to finish, ensuring all audits are conducted in compliance with auditing standards.
  • Review Financial Statements: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance with GAAP/IFRS, and identifying any discrepancies.
  • Internal Control Assessments: Evaluate internal control systems, identify weaknesses, and recommend improvements to ensure operational efficiency and mitigate risk.
  • Client Advisory: Provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients based on audit findings, helping them improve their financial operations and internal processes.
  • Team Supervision: Guide and mentor junior consultants, providing them with training, support, and feedback. Ensure audit teams meet deadlines and maintain high standards of quality.
  • Audit Documentation: Prepare comprehensive audit reports, work papers, and other documentation, ensuring clarity and accuracy for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks during audits, proposing solutions to minimize potential threats to clients.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on industry regulations, accounting standards, and best practices to ensure compliance in audit processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACCA qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of audit experience, with proven expertise in external audits.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of auditing standards (ISA), financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle complex financial data and provide clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong interpersonal and client relationship management skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, audit software, and financial analysis tools.
